  11. I'm trying to install Icon v8.10 on my Linux system but hit a problem.
  12. I'm on _Step 4: Configure Icon for your platform_ and after entering
  13. _make Configure name=I386_linux_ I received the following error;

  15.         ed- ../../../bin/icon_vt < ../Config/dequote.ed
  16.         ed: No such file or directory
  17.         make[3]: ***[vt] error 2
  18.         make[3]: leaving dir '/root/icon/config/unix/i386_linux'
  19.         make[2]: ***[setup] Error 1
  20.         make[2]: leaving dir '/root/icon/config/unix/i386_linux'
  21.         make[1]: ***[all] Error 1
  22.         make[1]: leaving dir '/root/icon/config/unix/i386_linux'
  23.         make: ***[Configure] Error 1

  25. I suspect that an error occurred with the ed command, but I don't
  26. possess the knowledge to correct the error. Any help that anyone cares
  27. to give me will be much appreciated.
